We’ve finally secured full retail planning consent for our Tackle Trade Counter in March.
What does that mean for you? It means we’re adding a bit of ‘doorstep service’ to our usual routine.
New Ways to Shop (Without the Fluff)
While we’re still a webstore at heart, we know sometimes you just need your gear without the wait. Here’s how you can get your hands on our kit:

Click & Collect: Our standard ‘out of hours’ service remains available by appointment.

The Doorstep Service: From Thursday to Monday, Noon – 4pm, you can now swing by ‘on spec’ for bait and essential tackle kept at City Road.

Give th’Internet the Swerve: If you aren’t a fan of computers, we now welcome telephone orders during these same afternoon windows.
A Quick Reality Check
Before you load up the car, a gentle reminder: we are not a walk-in shop. We don’t have fancy aisles or shiny displays. Our stock is spread across three different locations to keep overheads low and prices lower.
So, if you’ve seen something specific online and want to “have a look” before buying, please don’t just turn up—it likely won't be on-site. We’re here for quick, efficient service for those who know what they need.
Honest Price Matching
We’re happy to match prices, provided we’re comparing apples with apples.

It must be from a legitimate, established dealer. (The bloke in the pub offering rods for a fiver doesn’t count).

It must actually be in stock. If a big chain store claims they’d sell a top-tier pole for pennies—but conveniently have zero in the warehouse—we won’t be chasing that fantasy.

Now the weather is finally playing ball, our weekend clearance sales are back in full swing:
