Enterprise Tackle ET18M Mixed Colour Mag Aligner Grubs

The Mag Aligner rig has proved devastating not just for carp, but also for tench, bream, chub, and barbel. These fake maggot sleeves align your hook point instantly for fast, dependable hook holds without complex rig tying.

Rig Setup & Usage Instructions:

• Recommended Setup: 1 to 1.5 metres of leadcore leader tied to the lead, paired with a sinking coated hooklink (such as Sufix Heavy Skin) fished helicopter style.

• Fitting the Grub:

  1. Using a sharp, pointed baiting needle, pierce the rubber maggot 1mm from the blunt end.

  2. Run the needle up through the centre and out the same side of the maggot roughly 1mm from the pointed end.

  3. Tie on your hook.Slide the maggot down the hooklink, pushing it over the eye of the hook and along the shank until properly positioned.

  4. Strip back the last 25mm of the plastic coating closest to the hook.

• Baiting Up: Hook on two live maggots. For maximum attraction, tie a small PVA bag or sock of live maggots to your lead (an Atomic Knobbly lead works brilliantly) and nick the hook through it, ensuring the hook point remains outside the bag.
