You can use this indicator on its own or pair it with electronic bite alarms and baitrunner reels for a complete setup.

This indicator is particularly useful for detecting "drop backs"—when a fish picks up your bait and swims towards you, causing your line to go slack. Because the indicator provides a consistent weight on the line between your reel and alarm, it will drop to the floor when a drop back occurs, giving you a clear signal that you have a bite.
