The Gardner GTD (Gardner Tackle Distance) is a purpose-built tool for the angler who requires a responsive, medium-fast action blank. Built using high-grade 36-ton Mitsubishi carbon fibre, this rod is designed to provide a direct connection when playing fish, while maintaining the tip recovery speed necessary for accurate, long-range casting.

Unlike many "distance" rods that feel stiff and lifeless, the GTD manages a precise balance. The lightweight 3K-reinforced blank is responsive enough to control a fish at the net, yet powerful enough to handle a variety of lead weights without "vagueness" or loss of accuracy.
