Shakespeare Ganza Power Match 420 – 4.20m / Approx. 14ft Match & Float Rod

A very clean example of the Shakespeare Ganza Power Match 420, supplied with its original Shakespeare rod bag.

This is the 4.20m (approximately 14ft) Power Match model, offering a little more length and power than a conventional 13ft match rod and making it particularly useful for heavier float fishing, river work and situations where additional line control is an advantage.

The rod is in excellent condition for its age – please see photographs for the best indication of condition.

The Ganza Power Match is a traditional longer match rod suited to waggler and float fishing on rivers and stillwaters. Its more powerful action also makes it an interesting option for anglers targeting larger coarse fish rather than simply fishing light match tackle.

At 4.20m, the additional length can be particularly useful for controlling floats and picking up line when trotting on rivers and fenland drains.
