The 10ft Wand format makes this a particularly useful rod for close to medium-range feeder work where a conventional longer feeder rod can be unnecessarily cumbersome. It's well suited to commercial fisheries as well as traditional coarse fishing for species such as bream, tench, roach and skimmers.

The shorter blank also makes it a handy choice for fishing tighter swims, small lakes, drains and other venues where accurate short-range presentation is more important than outright casting distance.
