A superb-condition Shimano Catana 1300A 13m pole that has seen very light use.

Designed as a versatile coarse and match fishing pole, the Catana is particularly well suited to commercial fisheries, with a 20 elastic rating giving it the strength required for tackling carp and other hard-fighting commercial fish.

Constructed from Shimano XT40 carbon with Biofibre reinforcement, the Catana combines low weight with strength and shock resistance. Shimano's reinforced joint system is designed to reduce premature joint wear, while the Ultra-Sound Sanding finish helps the pole ship smoothly through the hands.

A particularly useful feature of the Catana is Shimano's Gen Z Concept. Compatible Gen Z sections and top kits can be sourced if additional or replacement sections are required. The top five sections are also interchangeable with Shimano poles produced using the Gen X concept, making this a practical choice for anglers already using compatible Shimano pole equipment.
