StarBaits Boilie Guard – Durable Hookbait Protection

The StarBaits Boilie Guard is a practical solution for anglers fishing waters plagued by crayfish, mitten crabs, or small nuisance fish. This low-temperature shrinking plastic tube creates a transparent, protective sleeve around your boilie, preventing it from being whittled away or pulled off the hair.

By using this guard, you ensure your hookbait remains intact for longer periods, giving you confidence during long sessions or overnight stays.

Available Sizes & Dimensions: Please select your preferred size from the dropdown menu:

• Small (16mm): * Accommodates baits up to 20mm diameter.

  • Shrinks down to approximately 11mm when steamed.

  • Width (laid flat): 34mm.

• Large (22mm): * Accommodates baits up to 28mm diameter.

  • Shrinks down to approximately 15mm when steamed.

  • Width (laid flat): 45mm.

Instructions for Use:

1. Cut a section of the tubing to match the width of your boilie.

2. Slide the boilie into the tube.

3. Carefully apply steam to the plastic. The tube will shrink and grip the bait firmly.

4. Once cooled, hair-rig your bait as normal.
