Up for sale is a classic piece of British angling history from the famous "crossover" period of the late 1960s/early 1970s. This is the hollow glass CTM14 (Close To Match) 3-piece float rod, carrying the highly collectible joint branding of B. James & Son and Bruce & Walker.

### Condition Report & Action
* **The Tip:** Please note, the tip section has suffered an historic break and has been neatly repaired with a replacement tip guide. As a result, the tip section is slightly shorter than the mid-section. This slightly stiffens the action, making it a brilliant, robust "user rod" rather than a pristine museum piece.
* **The Blank & Whippings:** The classic brown blank shows light signs of use but is free from deep fractures. The original wine-coloured silk whippings are secure.
* **Handle & Fittings:** The traditional cork handle shows honest bank-side patina but remains solid with no major chunking. Reel rings are present and slide smoothly.
* **Ferrules:** The classic spigots fit together firmly with plenty of life left in them.
